Want to lead a walk?
Want to do your bit? We always need people to lead and come up with good ideas for walks, anything from shorter rambles to 18-miles (plus!) hikes. For insurance reasons, to lead a walk you must be a member of the Ramblers Association and you need to submit your membership number before being able to lead a walk.
If you are interested in leading a walk contact the Walks Secretary.
Information for walks leaders
If you wish to submit a walk please email the Walks Secretary with your Ramblers membership number and preferred contact details. The Walks Secretary will then send you all the information you need to be able to submit your walk details online. Please note that the Walks Secretary needs to check your walk before publishing it to the walks diary so it will not appear instantly.
We are now using the new Walks Manager.
Can all walk leaders please login and go to ‘Manage contact preferences’ on the new Walks Manager and set your permission for what information will be displayed for their walks. The default email if contact preferences is not set by yourself is the groups General Secretary email. How to set your contact preferences please see the linked documents below.
