Do non-members have to book a place for a walk?
Some walks are available on a booking-only basis. Where booking is required, please follow the instructions in the walk description. Do not attend the walk if you have not booked a place as you will not be able to walk with the group. For walks which do not specify that booking is required, please just turn up on the day. There is no need to contact the Walk Leader beforehand unless you have a question.
If you’re a first-timer, don’t worry you are unlikely to be the only one on the day! We kindly ask that you join the Ramblers if, after 3 walks, you decide that you like walking with us and wish to continue doing so. It costs less than £4 per month.
