Welcome to the Walks and Socials Diary
As a result of changes to government guidelines and Ramblers guidance small group walks are now allowed. However, the number of walkers has to be strictly limited, with all places pre-booked and social distancing measures adhered to.
Understandably this is quite different to how we have operated as a group up to now. The Take A Hike Committee is exploring options for a viable solution to meet the new requirements and will provide an update on this page in the coming weeks.
We invite all members to consider whether they could lead a small group walk (small group currently means 5 walkers plus walk leader). Perhaps a walk you discovered during lockdown might be suitable? Support is available. If you are interested in leading a walk please contact the Walks Secretary Steve Noble email@example.com in order to be kept informed of developments from a walk leading perspective. All walk leaders should contact Steve to register their interest, whether new or existing leaders. Please include your Ramblers membership number and email address.
Thank you for your patience. We look forward to walking in small groups soon.
