Tong and Fulneck Evening Walk

A 5 mile evening walk from Tong to Fulneck and Nan Whin’s Wood.

The route may be muddy in places, with several stiles and kissing gates and a couple of fields with cattle.

Meet outside Tong Village Hall, which is on the main road opposite The Greyhound pub.

Parking on street in the village. Please give youself enough time to be ready to start the walk at 1900. Please note the postcode is approximate, if you put it into Google maps it will take you to the Alpaca centre, which is just off the main road.

From Tong village we will head down Keeper Lane towards the golf course. Picking up the Leeds Country Way we follow  the beck then head up steeply towards Fulneck. From there we take a sunken lane down through the golf course and follow Pudsey Beck in the Leeds direction back to the main road. Crossing the road we return to Tong village via Nan Whin’s Wood and Springfield Lane.
