The maximum on this walk will be 16 including the walk leader.

We head out of Thixendale up a short, steep hill along the wolds way. We will pass through the medieval village of Wharram Percy where we can take a break and have a look around. We then walk along the old disused railway line to the village of Wharram le Street. Then looping around back intoThixendale in a figure of 8 via the centenary way. The walk has a few small ups and downs but is along good footpaths. There may be livestock in some of the fields around, so please keep dogs on a lead. This is a moderate walk, with lovely views. We will meet outside the village hall there is on street parking in the village car sharing is recommended.
