The maximum number of people on this walk will be 15, including the walk leaders

This walk is to celebrate Nikki's 10-year Anniversary of being in Take a Hike

We will start on the canal towpath walking in the direction of Leeds City Centre, we will break off from the canal and head up towards Horsforth a little and then walk towards Apperley Bridge following the river.  We will then climb up through Calverley woods and join the Calverley Millenium Way towards Woodall before dropping back down into Calverley for drinks at the Calverley Arms.

It would be great to see both new and old members, don't forget to bring some lunch 🙂

Parking:-  Unfortunately there is no car park so you would need to park on the road side somewhere local to the starting point.  Car sharing would definitely be recommended.

Post Walk:-  We will be stopping at the Calverley Arms for a drink after the walk.  From the pub to the end of the walk is approx. ¾ mile which is easily navigated if you choose not to have a drink or make your way back to the starting point in your own time.
