Otley’s hidden gems

Parking at the main north parade car park(behind horse and farrier) we proceed across the river wharfe.  Finding ourselves the wrong side of the river we make the best of of it and push on through an estate via winding ways upto the delightful village of Clifton.
From there field paths and a short lane brings us to East beck.  Following the beck a short way we drop to Asquith and then by a  very muddy path and roads we approach Cock pit farm.  If it looks possible(numbers/space etc) a short stop here is possible for a coffee.  Then via a woodland path we return to the estate and Otley itself, and the reward of a drink at one of Otleys many pubs(to be decided)Dogs on lead ok but a lot of sheep.  Very muddy in parts, gaiters advised
