Hellifield to Scaleber force waterfall

Starting by the car park next to Aherne's clothes shop, in Hellifield. We will walk past Nursery Hill and onto New House Lane. Following on from New House Lane we will pass New pasture plantation and walk onto Langber Lane Track, from Langber Lane Track we will stop at Scaleber force waterfall for lunch.

After Lunch we will be walking back, from Scaleber force waterfall to Lambert Lane and eventually converging onto the Pennine Bridleway which leads into Long Preston.

From Long Preston we will walk back onto New House Lane and back into Hellifield.

I am planning after the walk to go to Hazy Days cafe which is in Hellifield.

If you are planning to come by train you will need to catch the 08:19 Morecambe train from Leeds train station. The train arrives into Hellifield for 9.14. If you are planning to come by train I don't mind driving you from Hellifield train station to Aherne's car park as it is a 15 minute walk. I would appreciate if you could contact me a few days before hand so I know in advance if anyone wants picking up from Hellifield train station.

Trains back from Hellifield to Leeds train station are as follows; 16.07, 17.36, 18.06

Car parking is free all day.

There are no public toilets in Hellifield.
