The maximum number of people on this walk will be 15, including the walk leader.

We will walk through the Valley Gardens and into the Pinewoods. Passing Harlow Carr Gardens we then walk part of the Harrogate Ringway route to Birk Crag. We will then head back to the Valley Gardens past St Wilfred's Church.

Walking boots recommended as it is muddy, and the rocks are slippy in places. Expect a small amount of climbing & uneven ground up to, and around Birk Crag.

There is free parking along Harlow Moor Drive (no restrictions). Disc parking restrictions are in place on nearby streets. 

Toilets are available in the Valley Gardens. Please use before the start time as we don't pass by on the walk. 

Picnic afterwards in the Valley Gardens for those that wish to bring a packed lunch or buy something from the cafe.
