Bingley and Cullingworth

2019-06-02 09:30:00 2019-06-02 16:30:00 Europe/London Bingley and Cullingworth

A full day's walk starting from Bingley and taking in scenic woodland, moor and country tracks. Highlights of the walk include the famous 5 Rise Locks on the Leeds/Liverpool Canal and a crossing of the Hewenden Viduct. At around the halfway point we reach the village of Cullingworth where there are some shops. Based on my recce, the walk should take between 6 and 7 hours at a steady pace with a few breaks along the way. Well behaved dogs are welcome on the walk, but dog owners please check out the general info about dogs on the Take a Hike website. The walk is graded towards the top end of 'moderate'  in difficulty due to the length of the walk and the mixed terrain.
