All ‘Take A Hikers’ are invited to attend the TAH Annual General Meeting on Zoom on Sunday 21st November 2021 at 19:30, which will be followed by a short quiz.
The purpose of the AGM is to reflect briefly on the past year and for members to elect a committee for 2022.
While Covid continues to be in our midst, and TAH members are at different stages in terms of wanting to mix with other people indoors, the AGM will be held on Zoom rather than face to face, so that everyone has the opportunity to be there.
We hope that as many of you as possible are able to show your support by attending this event. Everyone is welcome, whether TAH is a recent discovery for you or you’ve been around a while longer. As soon as the formalities of the AGM are complete, the event will transform into an online social with a short quiz kindly organised by TAH Member Rep Vicki.
This event is expected to last no longer than an hour and a half.

The AGM provides an opportunity for people to join the committee who have not previously been involved.
Committee members retire from their roles at the AGM and are eligible for re-election if they wish to stand again (which is the case this year). In addition to the current roles, a Social Secretary is needed for 2022 (the role was vacant in 2021). There’s also the opportunity to put yourself forward as an alternative candidate for an existing role or to contribute without having any formal responsibilities by being a Member Rep.
