Harrogate Drinks, Food and Drink.

2019-05-18 16:10:00 2019-05-18 Late!:00 Europe/London Harrogate Drinks, Food and Drink.

After a successful previous visit, I thought that it is time for another social in Harrogate, which features several fine bars where a decent conversation in a relaxed atmosphere is possible.

Itinerary (timings approximate! In particular, the Little Ale House, which is an absolute gem, is rather… little. If it is full, we will stay at the North Bar until 18:30 and then go on to the Starling and then Major Tom’s earlier, and then try to revisit the Little Ale House at around 21:00). Either way, we will definitely be at the Starling between 19:00 and 20:00 for anybody wanting to join us during the evening.

16.10 – The Harrogate Tap (Station Parade, HG1 1TE);

17.00 – North Bar Harrogate (2D, Oxford Buildings, Cheltenham Parade HG1 1DA; meat / cheese platters and cakes available);

18.00 – The Little Ale House (7 Cheltenham Crescent HG1 1DH);

19.00 – Starling Independent Beer and Coffee House (47 Oxford St, Harrogate HG1 1PW; café bar, with a decent selection of good food and coffee available until 9pm);

20.30 – Major Tom’s Social (3, The Ginnel HG1 2RB; upstairs café bar just a few yards down the hill and across Parliament Street from the Starling, this also serves Pizza, salads and has a charcuterie board available)

The venues are relatively close to each other, so anyone wishing to join us later in the evening will not have too far to walk to find us.
