Summer Nights is a festival of outdoor film screenings in beautiful heritage locations throughout the summer. As dusk falls, watch an open-air screening of box office biopic Bohemian Rhapsody in the beautiful surroundings of RHS Garden Harlow Carr. This is a foot-stomping celebration of Queen, their music and their extraordinary lead singer Freddie Mercury.

The film starts at 8pm with doors opening at 7pm. This is an outdoor performance, you can bring a camping chair or rug with you as there is no formal seating and please dress for the weather. Deckchairs are also available to hire for the evening for £5. We are free to take our own food and drink for a picnic.

More about the film: This foot stomping biopic is a romp through the years leading up to Queen’s career rejuvenating performance at 1985’s Live Aid. Following the meteoric rise of the band through their iconic songs and revolutionary sound, their near implosion as Mercury’s lifestyle spirals out of control, and their triumphant Live Aid reunion. There Mercury, facing the battle for his life with his HIV diagnosis, leads the band to a performance that cements their legacy. Rami Malek (Mr Robot) dons the moustache as Freddie Mercury with Joseph Mazzello as John Deacon, Ben Hardy as Roger Taylor and Gwilym Lee as Brian May. Ably supported by Mike Myers, Aidan Gillen and Tom Hollander.

Tickets (£15.50) can be bought from https://summernightsfilm.co.uk/venue/rhs-harlow-carr.
Please book your own ticket and let me know if you are coming, and if you want to hire a deckchair.
